As newcomers to Austin, Claire and Cody were excited when I suggested a photoshoot by the water at one of the city’s most iconic spots: Barton Springs Pool.
Barton Springs is Austin’s all-time favorite, and for good reason. It’s a natural, spring-fed pool with crystal-clear water, surrounded by trees and lush greenery. Popular year-round, it’s especially refreshing during the hot Texas summer.
This was Claire and Cody’s first time visiting the pool, and the 68 °F water didn’t deter them. After a bit of mental preparation, we jumped in and spent the day swimming, playing, and getting creative together.
Their first experience at Barton Springs turned out to be a memorable one. Here are the photos to prove it.
